Mercedes Benz S63

It's also a peek at the imminent motor world, with equipment like full of life driving bolsters, adaptive cruise control and even night-vision camera. While many of these types of technology may be inaccessible to the public like you and me, eventually, we'll get our chance. Mercedes has used its S-Class line to develop first used equipments that eventually finds its way into everybody's car. Two very well-known firsts from S-Class are Air bags and electronic stability control.
This S-Class is debuting the Mercedes AMG's 6.3-liter silicon-aluminum alloy V-8. A natural, variable value timing physical, Mercedes-AMG, the high-performance division of Mercedes, has created a hand-crafted engine with 518 horses and 465 pound-feet of torque. It's combined with Mercedes' seven-speed electronically controlled transmission, which includes aluminum paddle shifters and AMG SpeedShift. As expected, the S63's acceleration is smooth, effortless and clean. The only item holding this behemoth back is the car's own weight. With a curb mass of roughly 4,700 pounds, the car had great traction but slightly heavy on the highway. That's the desire for a sedan made to cruise on the autobahn in Germany. Unfortunately, the surface in North America is not equal.

The ride on the S63 features Mercedes' high-tech active body control, a system of 13 sensors and hydraulic servos to manipulate the car's four-wheel independent suspension. This feature's aim is to keep the car's body from rolling. It's amazing system, and also a reason why you need Mercedes dynamic driving seats.
The electronic seats can adjust 14-way various ways with bolsters that push out to hold you in place as you take a turn. It requires some frequent usage to become comfortable. Upon switching the seats on, it feels like a love tap to your side while making a sharp right or left turn.
Moreover, the leather seats will also give you more than just a driver's seat, like a massage. There are four massage settings to click and enjoy. The Lexus LS 460 will give a massage to the boss in the rear seat, the Mercedes S63 spoils both the driver and front seat passenger with seat massages.

Mercedes Benz S63 Highlights

Is that it ? hardly. One might say, the most incredible feature is the Distronic Plus radar cruise control. It's a astonishing work of technology that monitors the cars in front of you and adjusts your car to their speed. The S63 can even bring you to a complete stop without requiring you to ever touch the brake.

It takes a lot of trust to allow the system over your eyes, but once you get used to it, it's amazing. To test it out, input a speed limit and the S63 will do the rest. A couple of issues were found. For example, when the highway curves, occasionally the radar loses track of the front vehicle and accelerates, making any motorist who can see what the system can't perturbed. In a way, this Mercedes is made for both the rich car enthusiast and the silver spooned consumer. Its luxurious features appeal to some and its speed and handling are not compromised.
