Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is getting a slight facelift amd will replace the present Gallardo. The new car's name continues the tradition of Lamborghini vehicles having a name with similar style to a different model or in this case, a big brother, the Murcielago LP640. The LP means "Longitudinale Posteriore", the engine's position - longitudinally mid-mounted. 560 is the car's metric horsepower, and Lamborghini opted to add the "-4" to remind the excited drivers that the Gallardo is a four-wheel-drive vehicle.
The power behind getting the Gallardo to attain the 200-mph mark comes from an all new aluminum V-10 engine. It feature's a 90-degree type with larger bore spacing than the previous years. It produces 560 metric hp at 8000 rpm - up from 520 in the 2008 model. Torque is up as well. However, the brand new engine has better low-end torque versus the previous one. Lamborghini is also doing its part for the environment with the LP560-4's emitting approximately 18% less carbon dioxide (327 g/km compared with 400) while being faster than the 2008 model.
